Father's Wine is a family winery that creates bright original wines from unique varieties. The team continues to improve the process of making wines from Husiatyn (Ternopil region, Ukraine), drawing on world experience and constantly experimenting with new styles. All in order for you to be able to choose 100% "your" wine.
The goal of Father's Wine is to change the attitude of Ukrainians to national wine for the better, through the active development of wine culture not only at the regional level, but also throughout Ukraine! More than 10 years ago, a successful businessman from Husiatyn - Volodymyr Buyachok, laid the first foundations of the future winery. He grew the first vines of 40 varieties of technical grapes, most of which were new and atypical for Ukrainian winemaking, in order to test the wine-growing potential of Ternopil region. His experiment was a success, and in 2010 a winery was founded. In 2018, Volodymyr Buyachok passed away. But he left behind the idea of modern craft wine, which was picked up by the children and wife of the winemaker. His daughter Oksana and son Taras decided to continue their father's endeavors, turning his hobby into a matter of life. The wine is named after his father - Father's Wine. In 2019, the brand successfully received a license for small winemakers and officially entered the Ukrainian market, becoming the first winery in the history of Ternopil region with its own grapes and unique varieties! Winery today: 4 hectares of own vineyards in Husiatyn; Production volume 35,000 bottles per year; Limited wine production in small batches. Original grape varieties: Helios and Dublyansky are autochthonous varieties that define a special blend of flavors of the region; Jupiter - a fragrant American variety for the production of pink wine; Johanniter is bright and voluminous, from the German Riesling family; Muscat Ottonel, from which PET NAT is made, is a white still and amber wine; Sauvignon Blanc is one of the so-called "great wine varieties"; Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Saperavi - classic varieties for the production of red wines. We use 80% of our own plantations for wine production. Our vineyards do not use any pesticides or harmful drugs, and the grapes are harvested by hand. The winery is equipped with high-tech European equipment from Italy, Bulgaria and Slovenia. Fermentation takes place in professional stainless steel tanks. Exposure is practiced in clay amphorae and oak barrels from France and Ukraine.
